This club is for children and young people with disabilities in the Macclesfield and surrounding area.
The club is for children from 8 years to 18 years
We meet once-a-month (usually a weekend) and also during school holidays.
The cost is £10 and this includes lunch, snacks, drinks and any entrance fees.
CCBS have a 17 seater mini bus and we generally meet at Park Lane School car park to collect the children.
The Adventure Club is aimed at young people with disabilities between the ages of 8 to 18 years. We meet on a monthly basis and the young people get the opportunity to engage in activities of their choice. We always ask the children/young people what they would like to do but equally we try to encourage the children/young people to gain new experiences and we will suggest places – from this we are able to plan the different activities.
CCBS have organised trips to the beach, ice skating, bowling , Manchester United stadium tour, splash landings at Alton Towers , Blackpool illuminations and pleasure beach, trampolining at Flip Out, Cadbury World where the children/young people have been able to sample chocolate! We have also been bike riding in Wythenshaw there are over 50 bikes to choose from – all bikes are adapted so every one can enjoy bike riding.
The children/young people are able to meet with their friends, socialise, gain new experiences – developing their independence and most importantly have lots of fun!
